Rico, I acknowledge that this joke has some truth in it. I find it just as repulsive as you do. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior.

Just curious, did you watch any of the video or click on Tom's Google search? This is not made up creationist propaganda. It is well documented in scientific publications. I don't think the woman who first discovered the dinosaur soft-tissue in 2005 was a Christian or coming at it from a...

    Today....

I never remember to take pictures, but I did today (after I had already cut half of the tree). Once again, nothing crazy, but very poor access. That gate by the stump was the only possible access because a shed blocked the other side of the yard.

Maybe before they rotted away? It was in a shade garden right next to two banana trees. It was well mulched and well watered. Too wet constantly is my guess, but I find it odd there weren't any conks or visible signs above ground.

I'll leave this here. They spent much more time on this than I have to invest at the moment and can probably write much more coherently. There are a lot of cool dinosaur depictions from around the world towards the end of the article. Goodnight buzzers...

I also think the Biblical descriptions of "behemoth" and "leviathan" in the book of Job sound a lot more like dinosaurs than hippos, crocodiles, or elephants (as modern skeptics try to suggest).

Which article are you referring to there, Tom?

I'm sure some of these have been faked, but there are lots of authentic Peruvian burial stones depicting different things. One argument for authenticity of dinosaur depictions on these stones is that the tales are pointed up. This is a relatively recent discovery. The thinking of the day was...

Here is another cool excerpt from the Bruce Malone book 'Have You Considered?'. I have never heard of a bunyip before this. I've also included a link from Google from the millions of years perspective...

I caught a couple of these last week and thought they'd be worth sharing. Thanks, Reach.

Pretty much every culture has dragon mythology. The term 'dinosaur' wasn't coined until 1842. The dragons sound remarkably similar to dinosaurs. There is much credible evidence that man did in fact walk with dinosaurs.

That was good, especially the very last sentence.

Thanks for sharing that TreeCo and giving us an idea of what you believe and where you're coming from. I love sci-fi, but for some reason, I could never get into Asimov. Maybe I'll have to give his Foundation series another try someday. The quote is beautifully poetic and all, but I find it...

    Today....

I was just planning on grinding stumps today and broke the cardinal rule of tree work: always carry a saw with you. It was super windy today and a guy called with an uprooted Chinese pistache. He got it as far as he could. He was right around the corner, so instead of driving home for a saw...

Au contraire, Tom. I'm awake and my eyes are fully open. Jesus heals the eyes of the blind. I've tried to avoid feelings and experiences as proof for God, and stick mainly to logic and observations from the natural world for evidence, but I know God exists beyond a shadow of a doubt. There...

Did you read #128? Once again, to clarify #125 about not having "science" without the Bible, I meant that many of the founders of modern science believed in the Bible. Sorry about that. Definitely meant "modern" science. These founders believed in an orderly God and an orderly universe...

Cool stuff there. I'd be interested to see if anyone is implementing their floating agriculture today. Also, talk about discipline in schools...

Tom, I genuinely look forward to reading that later. A lot of interesting stuff there. I by no means meant to imply that Christians were the only ones to make scientific discoveries or anything like that. I simply meant that the idea that you can't be a scientist and a Christian is...

Lol, that's not very scientific of you. We need to differentiate between observable science and historical science. We wouldn't have 'science' without the influence of Bible-believing Christians. That tour was pretty disappointing. Bill Nye was not there to have a conversation. He would not...
