    Prusik cord

Try a variety of hitches, low and slow until you know if it will work well. Knut is my personal favorite.

Massive Omni Block on the Horizon

It's probably rated for "Fuck it. Send it KN".

King Of The Canopy - Format of the Future?

I had fun but the amount of intense climbing was entirely too much, bordering on dangerous imo. Rapid fire ascents, short time limits and hurried change overs are a little much when it's done over and over and over at 50-70'. If the format stays the same, I won't be doing that again. I...

Massive Omni Block on the Horizon

So sexy. Don't know any of the specs, but I'm sure it'll be good. Just like every thing else they make.

Idea: "Bag O' Rope" rope swap

That is, if you're not able to come to an agreement with ATH. Obviously he has dibs.

Idea: "Bag O' Rope" rope swap

I'd be happy to buy or trade something for that beeline. I use it for my lanyards, and I don't bother splicing it. Lemme know. Anything you're interested in?

I just want to say I'm impressed at how civilized this conversation is. Well done.

    Rigging Gear

I'm not very experienced with cranes, but the yellow 20' round slings (6400lbs each I think) and 12' slings with 3/4" Crosby shackles work very well and are versitile. 2 eacg. Actually.... I think you recommended those to me. Most importantly, pretty inexpensive. At about $60-$75 each. Double...

    Sketchiest Oak Tree Ever?

*inserting shameless plug* Did Nick ever come out and take a look? I'm curious as to what he said about it. I'd trust his opinion over almost anyone. Great guy and a BCMA.

    Battery powered pruners

Wish I could help you out on the pole pruner, but I don't own one. I do, however, have a Husqvarna battery top handle. I'm pretty impressed with it. No, it doesn't have the power a 201 has, but that wasn't the intention. It's a great little deadwood and pruning saw. And you don't have to pull...

Putting your rope in tight places.

I've used it on a ring and ring, several pulleys and tight crotches. Works great so far.

Putting your rope in tight places.

It just goes on like a Chinese finger trap. Bunch it up and slide it on.

Putting your rope in tight places.

It should fit fine. There's plenty of room still. 3/8 just grips tighter than the 1/2.

Putting your rope in tight places.

    http://www.techtoolsupply.com/Fish-Tailz-Wire-Pulling-Sock-3-8in-p/85-903.htm 3/8" works best for 7/16" rope. I'd use a 1/2" for 5/8" rigging rope.
