Yeah .. I serendipitously chose an area South of Perth to live in ... fortunately for me it's the only corner of Australia not on fire.
Yeah I moved to Aus for an indefinite period of time. I was getting sick of Canadian winters tbh
We threw the traverse from within the tree via throwline...
And for bonus points, I slept atop an old fire lookout on a recent bikepacking trip (Camping + biking) through WA. 60 metres up and there's a convenient little platform from which I got to watch the sunset, the local NYE fireworks and then awoke to a beautiful sunrise on the first day of 2020...
A couple of buddies and I headed up a nice 75 metre Karri tree down south from where I live. We climbed up to the top, had a beer (oooooo yep, that's australia), then set a treeverse to an adjacent 60m tree about 30-40m away ... we headed back up this morning and treeversed across a pretty big...
Where abouts in the Pnw is this ?

It's long sleeves down here in Australia, by law ... to prevent the god damn giant nuclear furnace in the sky from roasting you to a crispy, flaky brown.
UV Index has been 13 (On a scale from 1 to 10...) for the past two weeks. Long sleeves are the way to go, even if it's 37C
Call your local tree care companies and let them know
SPCA and animal sanctuaries are a good place to leave a business card / poster
Fire departments and local animal control outlets will also happily refer you
