You're correct Tom. Battery is only to actuate the brakes if the break-away is pulled. I haven't seen any thing that has its own battery also have a small one just for the brakes.

I don’t know what is in there for the valve body but there is a motor spool. Most valves have interchangeable spools for either a motor or a cylinder spool. Motor spools are open in neutral where cylinder spools are closed or locked.
