    My favorite bounce was when the homeowner didn’t have their leave cleaned up and we were working in four inches of oak leaves. I took a five foot section of spar out when it hit the ground there was a rock under the leaves. It bounced and slammed the house. Had to fix that one.

    I don’t think they will go out of business. There’s hundreds and hundreds of those lifts in operation in the us and maybe a few have had failures. I suspect the company will replace the boom on existing ones or maybe fishplate some steel. Also, how they handle this will either reinforce or kill...
