That tool truck, had some thought put into it! Do you have some engineering background? The load handler ( what a great name, lol) I had one, was never as efficient as your video. Straight walls, gravity, width of mat.. all important. Keep posting @ 27RMTON
Is there any validity to counting the seconds when you see a flash to the sound of thunder to roughly calculate miles?
radar on the phone is the tool now. 5-10 miles away is my comfort zone. Luckily not in a scenario where lightning is the difference between profit margins...humbly... definitely...
just my opinion.... I think a lot is lost when folks don't get the ground experience and go straight to climbing. So many companies need climbers that they literally don't have the time to invest in the process. I've seen that if someone is really wanting to be a climber, they tend to strive for...

I once paid extra for a climbing hitch with knots tied in the ends... when I could have bought a much longer hank of chord and made multiple hitches of different lengths....good lesson, early in my journey.
That log, is in its permanent resting place, mesh (roofing paper) removed. I'm going to take a photo of it today with activity. We are hot and muggy today. The log is oriented in the same position it was in the tree
