I will take a look at 45 & 90 Steve. Thanks. There are a few other solid wood options he has also. If you can think of some species that might be better than Walnut let me know and I will see if he has it. They are cut from Hardwood floor strips so that may limit some of the choices.
I agree Gordon, there are far better methods then adhesive. I just don't know that they would be user friendly for everyone. Adhesive while questionable at times is something everyone can handle without tools.

I actually just priced a custom enclosed with 5ft doors on the sides and a Ramp door on the back.. Was thinking "Bed Slide" or "Lazy Susan" upfront and machine in the back.
I have no experience (wheeled machine myself) but have you thought about sheet metal screws. Hex head with straight flat screwdriver slot. Youtube "wranglerstar" he has a video of them and why he uses them in particular in his boots for icy conditions.
If I was going to have something built, I think I would try to get a hydraulic lift gate on the side so I could drive straight on and just raise it. Would need some design thoughts but I am sure something could be figured out.
Chips are about 500 give or take. My thoughts would be your bark may be lighter than you think. Or you are over weight and don't know it. Have you ever gone to the scales loaded and unloaded?
