Mat movement is on my list also Mert. I like the idea of moving stuff off and on with less moves when I want an empty trailer for other stuff. I need to stop by and hi, it's been awhile. I am down that way a couple times a months anymore.
That's my thoughts @Merle Nelson , just need to make it work until I get a chance to make racks. I got a few Youtube vids from other people saved that I am studying. There are some really clever people out there that have some well thought out trailers.
Preliminary loading until I decide what I want to add for betterment. Grapple is attached, 1st row is Forks & Bucket, 2nd row is Grapple Bucket & Dozer Blade. Ratchet binders and chain are on order.
@FreeFallin you might have already checked but.....freezer, window siles, clipped to ladder you used to reach eye bolt. Hopefully it will lead to discovery.
I think Jeff nailed it, so much depends on the person and process used. Mine was done 30 years ago and it was cake. Topical numbing agent, small cut, pulled them out and cauterized them. Put it all back in and a couple dissolving stitches. I actually played a 2 day softball tournament the next 2...
Thanks Mert.
It is a 6.5 x 16, 7000lb. It's actually an old (1993) International trailer. When I stopped to look at I couldn't believe it was 25 yrs old. Then they showed me the title, the maintenance log, and the receipts for everything related to the trailer since new. Gotta love a company...
New to me. Going to set it up for Dingo and attachments. Looked at a few new ones but they were way over priced. Found this at a local landscaping & nursery for cheap, figured it was a good starting platform. And since buying it locally we have already had a few conversations about me doing some...
@deevo how is the waist band on the MB? That was the one thing I didn't like about the Onyx, it kept loosening up while I wore it. The MCRS has the old school belt which is one of the main things I like about it.
I will let you know Mert. I got a rush job in work that will probably make that impossible to attend but I will keep it in mind and print out the flyers. I found them at Gap's website.
I mentioned to my guy that the whole process is a crap shoot. Between lack of information, an abundance of misinformation, and wide spread confusion between enforcement personnel on what the regulations say. He actually agreed and said that they have talked about doing public events but that...
Oh it gets better. The DOT wants a MCS-90 form. My insurance won't give them one because it is a commercial auto policy addendum not a general GL form. My truck is not owned by my business it is owned by me personally. So personally I can't get the form and business auto means I can't drive it...
So I got a call today from my DOT guy. Everything I sent him looked good except....My GL insurance. Apparently a little know fact is that if you trailer anything that has an internal combustion engine (chipper, stump grinder, Aerial lift, Lawnmower, Generator......) you are now considered class...
