Electric has the edge on torque. "Horsepower'' and chain speed is owned by the gassers. I have 2 ported saws with more to come. No battery saws at all in the arsenal.
I'd like a top handled one but only for indoor use at the wood furnace. For those pesky pieces that are a bit to long....LOL.
To add on about an earlier post, I too use an adjustable bridge. I prefer to put my gaffs on 1st. Then I open my bridge out fully, grab it and suspenders while putting saddle on over my head. Hang from suspenders, buckle everything and then adjust the bridge. With a bad hip, I dislike putting...

The only time I use the rigging plates is when I'm using a long lanyard/secondary short climbing line for positioning. Otherwise, the side Ds feel....well, natural for me.
No leg pads. Never tried them and read enough negative comments on them so, I didn't bother. Leg pad straps left...

My bouncing days are far and few in-between.
A few weeks ago I was playing ground duty on a crane day. The op is known to be ''rammy and jammy.'' Always in a hurry to no one's advantage. We had a top coming down and we were working alongside a lightly traveled backroad. There was a good sized...
I have noticed that natural disasters are good in an odd way. They can humble and bring communities closer together. All but the smallest and isolated towns tend to rebuild better then what they had before.
God bless all who have lost and may they grow stronger with each passing day.
It's happened twice in the local parts I was raised in. Both incidents were the owners of the chippers. One was blown into the river for fish food. I don't recall any other details. This is a real thing though. Both are serving life sentences.
