    Pole saw and usage

I have the Makita 40v and prefer it to my old echo power pruner. I've been getting by with 1 4ah battery.

    Knee Ascender

Ok. Yes I see it. Wasn't that attuned to the differences. If you are no longer using the arbopro clip n step boots are you using a Mumford elasticized loop around your foot?

    Knee Ascender

Has to be for sale in Canada or the shipping, broker charges and customs charges bring it to more or less the same anyway.

    Knee Ascender

True. The ascender is $139.00 Canadian. I was looking to make my own based on swing's endorsement and saw that. I'm going to make it like a SAKA. The original I made when yoyoman first published the instructions is getting old.

    Need Advice on a Powerscender

I used screws to repair mine years ago. Works great. I also made a new thicker backing plate. I drilled a hole through the outside rope channel and then through the back of the ropegrab and backing plate. If you make the outer hole slightly larger it allows you to countersink the screw head. It...

I gouged myself. Not one handing.

Looks like a nasty one. Hope you heal quickly. Thanks for posting that isn't something that readily comes to mind as a possible way to hurt oneself. I'll try to look out for the possibility.
