I’d probably just chop off the eye and resplice an eye on the snap. Or… find a small ss bow shackle, put a rope cover over it to keep down the clanking and you’re good to go.
If you edit the photo on your phone, you can crop it until it works. I’m not a tech savvy individual, but this usually works for me. It changes the way I take pictures. I’m always wondering if I am far enough away from the photo subject to afford enough margin for cropping. lol!
I had a couple of Princeton Elms to prune recently. They were complete garbage. I’m talking Co-domception. Everywhere I looked there was a problem. I wasn’t able to correct everything, but the trees look halfway decent from across the lawn.
Pruned out a ton of Mistletoe from this Hickory. This is a before pic. I forgot to get the after picture. I’m curious to see how it does. Some of the pruning cuts I’m not proud of, but most of the cuts are below each infected area. Maybe in a couple of years I’ll prune out more.
