    Today....

I was practicing low and slow with a new hitch combo that I am trying out and tuning in and got in the same position about 3.5 feet off the ground after taking a big swing. I couldn't get myself upright and I couldn't reach my hitch. I was stuck good until a nice passerby came to my aid. I...

    Climbing pants

Bartlettman handles the Solidur brand the seems like a decent pant too. They have to special order my size cause they don't normally carry my size but solidur does produce them. My personal choice are SIP non chainsaw and Clogger Spyders. SIPS wear like iron.

Seeking advice, trying to preserve a huge burl

A friend of mine was a world-renowned wood carver and biology professor who was well known in both fields. He had a studio in his back yard and a flitch drying shed attached to it. He would coat the cut surfaces of the flitches with paraffin and weigh them when he first put them into the shed...

    72 Years Young

The key to that is taking care of yourself now. My mother's side of my family had a lot of heart disease issues. My mom died at 45. I began to get serious about my health at that age and by 54 began seeing a cardiologist. At 58 I came very close to a heart attack, too close. I have 4 stents and...

    Helene

Glad to hear that, was concerned for your safety. We had the same here in Columbus. Most of the tree failures came from saturated soil before the wind got here. I never lost power at home.
