    How much do you want to spend? You could go to the TCIA expo, they do demos there. Visit an Arbormaster or nATS session? I've met some folks with all of the badges from there with limited abilities but probably better then nothing. In my opinion nothing beats on the job training, and it takes...

    huge tree, what is the species? Is that common for trees to reduced back to uprights like that? I seen some photos from @RopeShield that looked like that too.

    whoa. why do a lot of the branches seem to grow out and then turn up abruptly? Is that a species thing or because of past pruning or a camera angle thing?

    Where do you clip into with your advancement tether? if you use the 3 hole pulley and clip in to the middle or top hole with your tether to advance it will keep everything upright. or you could try something like this- https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=130&item=3530
