Considering buying another chip truck and having it shipped. I got a long wheelbase f550 13k lbs from VA to NH in '20 for ~$1200 using UShip. $70/hr with overhead and quoting and liability etc is not enough! One tactic to basing price: target net income (subtract every stitch of overhead and taxes and buffer), divided by realistic months/weeks worked, then 6-7 hrs/day. Sweet rig, I saw that one for sale a while back and was tempted. What kind of grade can it traverse comfortably and soil/mud etc? Approx weight? -

For me: -safety was lacking -pay would never approach the amount needed to get a house in my area -almost all workers did side jobs to supplement (which was necessary to make any financial headway) -lack of flexibility, lack of positive/wage reinforcement for productivity/safety/attitude...- Serf Life

Work Photos
28" bar in 2nd photo. ~15' cliff, couldn't get pictures to capture how backleaning and sketchy. Whip tackle to mini with side stay, needed a tie in on the ground to make the cut. Twitched up-out the lowest limbs and rigged a few smaller ones to minimize damage to the saplings etc.- Serf Life

Do you think this year has been different for business?
