Fixing old arbortech toolboxes ( L pack style)

Etrailer.com, McMastercarr.com are a few vendors that come to mind.

    Dealing with rotted wood

I’ve never had the chipper clog up from punky wood but the massive mold spore filled cloud that follows the chipping is terrifying. It’s like the movie The Fog.

The hardened ones do wear but surprisingly well.

I use Kold Kutters or something like that. They are just plain hardened steel and much cheaper but work wonders.

Cheap motocross tire studs in your tracks are far better than a mat or mesh on a hill/incline of any kind in snow and ice, especially. If you haven’t tried them I highly recommend doing it.

But are you really using mats on snow and ice? Ice I’m studding my tracks and snow I channel my inner 6 year old driving my tank into a snowy battlefield. Well, at least for the first trip in then it’s back to work.

I found it odd they don’t have an address listed. And the website has a very order from China feel.

The price seems high, half the weight, half the thickness. But it’s worth a look IMO.

I’m using an 18’ beaver tail with fold down ramps. I have 9 4x8 mats, s800tx, BMG, scoops, broom, and Domingo The Log Donkey. I’ll get a pic tomorrow.

See, you are asking more questions. Have you talked to a loan agent yet, a rich uncle perhaps? You really need this for all of your island work. It would be ideal. And just like the OP posted no mini required. Think of the niche market that machine would fill nicely. You need this!

    Line launcher

I have been eying a tire bead seater on TikTok shop for $50 something. It’s either going to be a line launcher or a spud gun, maybe both. But certainly not a tire bead seater. The one above looks well thought out tho.

    RAIN PANTS

IMO $300 a season for rain gear isn't that bad. $3 a day for 100 days that's like a LG coffee and a Snickers bar.

I think the first part is you justifying the purchase. Do it! You don't have to tell others, you can keep it a secret. Well, the barge captain might see it but that's it. lol
