I just had this issue with my mini. The bolt that was there I ended up breaking because the nut was seized onto the bolt so it couldn’t be tightened. Replaced the bolt of the same size and a metal lock nut, thirty hours no slipping of the throttle.

It certainly looks like a “couple hundred bucks” fix not repair. It looks like there is undercut, porosity, inconsistent bead profile, and poor blending, all the ear marks of future failure. Just saying but I wouldn’t be happy with that, at all.
