If the other oaks in the vicinity aren’t being defoliated then I’d say it’s not gypsy moth (spongy moth).
I think something is going on with the root zone with that specific oak
We are seeing signs of declining Japanese maples here in the cape. I haven’t gotten a call from any of my clients yet but have noticed the state of some of the maples just driving around. Foliage is sparse on some. Could be verticillium here too.
No mulch added. I asked them for a history of what’s been done in the area. Nothing has been done since the installation besides watering
Also, there are a few volunteer cherry saplings growing near some of the plants. The volunteers are healthy with no signs of stress
A client of mine called me over to look at a row of trees and shrubs that are in serious decline.
According to my client, these declining plants were installed approximately 5-6 years ago and were in good condition up until the last year or so.
Once on site I found a row of different species...
Acer rubrum from my back yard. I’ve never seen this on an over story tree.
Unfortunately my septic had to be replaced and this tree had to come down. Bummer
A few weeks ago my starter would not work on my Cummins x15
It didn’t make a sound when I turned the key.
Engine and three batteries are new
Outside temps were between 28-32 for a couple days When I went to start it.
I tried multiple times without a sound from the starter. It wouldn’t even...
Sorry for your troubles Evo.
My dad used to say “sometimes you can’t live far enough away from your neighbors.”
The older i get the more I agree with him.
The only issues i have are with the western star truck. I’ll be bringing it to the dealer soon for a leaning airbag and an air leak (possibly caused by the bag). The air tank pressure leaks down from 125 to about 50 psi in two days.
The crane itself has been great!
No issues yet. Pretty simple...
I noticed that my rear, drivers side air bag is leaning (tilted). It’s not leaking yet. I dumped the air in the suspension and then refilled but it didn’t correct the problem.
Has anyone dealt with this kind of issue? Any fixes or do I bring it to the dealer right away?
The truck only has...
A couple things that Mike at palfinger told me:
They increased the voltage from 12-24
Hydraulic flow adjustment to the saw
I know there is a lot more but I cannot remember….it was a lot of information to digest in just two days on Ohio lol
So I got my first call for a sub job for another tree company.
Steve and/or CHT. Can you share your contract that you have signed by the contractors?
Thanks in advance
