Hey Jeff I did go with 1/4 T1 steel plate for the floor. I welded a solid bead around the outer perimeter of the 1/4 plate to the 4x4x1/4 tubing then stitch weld the 4" 9 lb per foot ibeam crossmembers to the deck that are on 20" centers. I used a hougen frame drill with a annular cutter drill...
