    Rope Wrench Feedback?

Ran it with a Lock Jack was. No go there. Lock jack would not hold my weight until the RW was fully engaged. And no where near as smooth as a hitch, just clunky to me.

    Rope Wrench Feedback?

Yep. I removed the rigging plate from the equation though and just rock an alpine butterfly with a biner through the loop capturing the free leg of rope. Removes the metal on metal contact on one less piece of gear to get stuck.

    Rope Wrench Feedback?

Been rocking out the friction saver trick the past few days pruning Pin Oaks. Really digging it, its sweet not having that terminating end of line to worry about cutting, but still being able to pass through any amount of redirects. Only thing I've noticed, and idk if anyone else has experience...

    RADS Theoretical Ratio

Agreed. I see how RADS is a 2:1 now. But, DdRT is still a 2:1 also, RADS is just a redirected 2:1, correct? So, by that logic, SRT is still the 1:1 system.

Ash Tree Removal w/ Light Rigging

Hey Royce, a formula I learned from Gerry in his videos to make a piece land flat is to cut them at 1/5 intervals. So the piece you cut is 1/5 the total tree height. With a standard 45 degree notch, and the pieces 1/5 the total height, they should land flat each time.

Spot for Crane Workshop for Sale(Maybe)

Hey everyone, just wanted to make a quick post on here. Due to some issues, I may not be able to make it up to the hands on crane workshop this coming December. I won't know for another 2 or 3 days, but its looking more like I won't be able too. So I talked to Jim and he suggested putting my...

    Spruce Removal

Nice work man!! Lookin good. Only thing I noticed, and someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but on your snap cuts, after you made the initial cut, your second cut was above the initial, cutting into the piece that would drop. I would advise placing your second cut slightly below your first...

    Rope Wrench Feedback?

Just wanted to shout out to Kevin for the RW idea yet again! Been climbing in Central Park in NYC, and I'm loving SRT and the RW. Most of the climbs are just straight up, avg 40', get a few limbs/hangers, come down and move on. The RW and SRT is awesome in this application. No time wasted...
