Those scoops are amazing! I have a set for my Gehl AL340 and HD BMG and they are the bees knees for picking up raking, stump mulch, and pretty much any other debris you can think of! They don't tear up a lawn, have a large capacity, easy on/off, heavy duty.
As for Branch Manager, I can't be...

The hopper would fill quickly of course with branches, and it is so heavy, but it may be nice to park it below and drop or rig branches right into the hopper from above, then when everyone is clear, start it up and let it mulch away.

Way to impractical. The feed bin sits...

There's a reason the newest model listed is a 2008!
I've heard so many horror stories about Vermeer, I'll never touch them. The only reason we own a vermeer stump grinder is Dad got a good deal on it, and we needed a grinder.
Anyways, Vermeer blows big donkey balls. A buddy took his BC1800 in I think it was, needed a new bearings. Well Vermeer...

I stood my ground on this one, actually liked the video, because Frax and Rangerdanger were saying the safety police were enough to send them to another forum. They're both passionate about the work and I'd hate to lose contact with anyone like that.

I stick around X, just don't post as much. Enjoy reading yours bro, you keep things interesting around here haha. Nice work on those X-Rings btw, getting some good reviews from some ppl I've heard from. Look forward to getting some here soon.
This here is exactly why I've pretty much stopped browsing the buzz. People post great videos and members tear them a new one for any safety violation, no matter how large or small. Everyone in that video had hard hats on, safety glasses, etc. I will laugh in anyones face if they say they've...
Jeff, let me talk to Dad, we have a BMG we might be willing to part ways with. Its actually the exact same one attached to that Thomas thats pictured in this thread, I bought it and the Thomas off of Carl approx 10 months ago. Give me a day to get back to you if you're interested.
You can ascend with just the zig zag man, it'll hold your weight on a single line. I really want to pair it with my rope wrench set up, thats how I'd be rocking it.
This thing is smooth as butter, no lie. I've played with it on the show floor. Never been a big fan of any mechanical hitches, but this may change that. It feels so much like a friction hitch, but runs way, way smoother. Word on the show floor is it runs great with a rope wrench srt as well...
When we've done work on horse farms they've lended us one sometimes, to move wood. They're ok, beats picking things up by hand. I'd much rather have an articulated loader or skid steer myself. I just bought a Gehl AL340 with a few attachments, and I love it, no turf damage what so ever, when on...
Thanks guys! A a stem from this Maple broke off in a storm we had and fell onto their house, just about toppled the chimney. So the remaining tree was deemed too dangerous so we removed it.
And yep, huge horse farm, they had a big quarantine zone where they had horses they had flown in from...
Here's another storm damaged tree we removed recently. There's a bit of rigging in this one to make it more exciting. Had to rig the lead out over the house, the rest I was able to just bomb out.

Thanks guys. Yep, should've taken that extra step or two to get above that branch, will remember that for next time. And I'll try to keep the next one from being so boring lol.
Don't think black has much to do with it. I've talked to a few guys about Bandit and they all said they have raditor problems and that they're chipper always ran hotter than it should. Buddy of mine, when his rad blew way too early, he had a custom one built from copper and brass, and he said no...
Well, here it is, have at it guys. Storm damaged white pine we removed after a recent wind storm knocked out the other leader in it.
