I think it looks really promising...but it looks a little chunkier than the others. And the $100 more than a Reflex is chunkier too. I wanted one when this thread started! I'd still like to climb on one to see how it feels.
Paver installation is a whole craft in itself. I wouldn't think much of a paver installer decided one day they can just jump right into doing tree work, and I wouldn't expect to jump right into pavers.
Not that it cannot be learned. I've done a paver patio for myself at a previous house...but...
If you're gonna do cat rescues, consider @Richard Mumford-yoyoman 's bag:

I have one...bought after a cat rescue (with a pillow case, that went well but could have gone poorly). I think I've used it once since. Not something I...
Not wanting to make previous post too long, "other growth" suggestions:
Do you do plant health care? (staying with trees). Some chemical treatments, some fertilizers, learn about soils in your area and how to improve urban soil for better/healthier trees. If not, there is a bigger learning...
People call frequently asking "do you do landscaping". I ask "what do you have in mind? Landscaping can be anything from mowing to planning and planting to installing a paver patio."
So start with that...if you want to do "landscaping" define it.
Spring cleanup: probably a slow time of year...
Bought a tote of rope from Arbsession...I know a few pieces are arborfreak which should make great lanyards.
But this one...is it a version of Ivy? Cannot find a matching color. They say their bags are all Samson, so that narrows it down...
I think the links are stainless steel, right? Not that they won't wear, but a LOT slower than aluminum. I've heard that advice @treebing with the Unicender - start small and get bigger as it wears. I've been on 11.7 mm, then 12mm Imori, then back to 11.7mm with no problems...but have been...
For what? Tree climbing? Shouldn't be in a position to take a fall. We operate in a work positioning system, not a fall arrest system. Fall arrest lanyards for bucket work already have controlled deceleration manufactured in.
Agreed with @Reach, sounds good for what it was designed to be...
I thought Wesspur had splicing instructions, but didn't find those. There are tons of videos out there and lots of people here willing to help. I'm not an expert, but have learned.
One resource I invested in several years ago is TreeStuff's TreeU splicing instructions. Its been helpful.
It works and is easy to splice...but doesn't work with an ART positioner.
But 16 strand does...and that's not hard to splice. But OP said something about cramping/arthritis - that would make the final bury really hard, so find some hydraulics (I use the dump trailer - tie off and use the lift...
I think people shopping for trucks think too much about what clients think about the trucks. Doing a great job is professional presentation regardless of what the truck looks like. Find a truck that reliable works for the work you are doing and helps you do it more efficiently.
Ambulance for...
I've thought that I might like one of those integrated chipper/trailer units that are not real common.
But thinking today...maybe a tongue mounted tracked chipper would be a better plan. Leave it it place to chip into the dump trailer, or bring it to a back yard to chip and leave material if...
