Local Tree Companies Suck in my area!

Im not saying they suck because they don't do crane work.. that's not what I'm getting at at all. Im just looking for a good versitile crew that is up to date with the latest techniques. I would like to go work with them and learn some actual hands on experience from them, I know rope rigging is...

Local Tree Companies Suck in my area!

I'm in fort worth, west of Dallas. I'm also waiting.on a study guide to take my arborist cert. I really have a deep.passion for all aspects of tree climbing and general tree work. I have not had any real training from a real professional company. Everything I know I have learned on my own from...

Local Tree Companies Suck in my area!

So I have approached a few different local tree companies just asking if they have done any crane work or a lot of bigremovals. The reason I ask is to see how my competitors work as far as rigging and safety goes. Everytime I have mentioned using a crane they look at me like I'm absolutely...

    Heat shrink tubing

On page 14 of the new wesspur catalog there is some. It's clear and the heat shrink on the wesspur stiffy's is clear so I would imagine its the same stuff. Maybe you could double it up to make it stiffer.. I bought some industrial grade heat shrink from an ace hardware but it only came in 6"...

    New climbline milking

I guess I could just tape the end and climb on it until its done milking then whip it huh? Just curious to know if it will negatively affect the rope by not allowing it to milk at all? What if I had spliced eyes on both ends of a new rope?

    New climbline milking

So I am wondering if I will have issues with a fairly new climbing rope (bluemoon) I spliced a tight eye on it when I first got it then melted and whipped the opposite end. Should this rope be allowed to.milk before whipping and melting the end or will it be ok as is? I've only climbed on it 3...

    Stein RC2000 FLoating LD

I would love to get a RC2000 too, I've been a big fan of Reg since I first found his videos on YouTube. Good job on going with 3" diameter barrel Reg it fills the gap between the pow and bigger bollards such as the rc 3001 and others with similar diameters perfectly. I also like how it has the...
