Show me your vise mounted on truck or chipper

A stump vise with a stop is what I would want, then weld it to a plate or whatever your mount choice is. Like this one. Here's the link if anyone wants it. I've never used them, just got the picture there...

Show me your vise mounted on truck or chipper

I have a tool box with spare chains too, it also contains everything I need to sharpen any chain in the truck. I've seen the guys who can swap a chain in like 30 seconds on a clean saw, but most people take at least a couple minutes, in that same amount of time I can touch a chain up and tune it...

Show me your vise mounted on truck or chipper

Surprised no one has offered anything yet. I sharpen on a box on my trailer, a vise would be nice, especially when cutting dirty wood. Have you considered welding the stump vise to the truck/ or chipper. I'd want it on the truck myself.

Stihl MS391 saw, 11 months old, 'dropped' its muffler

Ask your friend what he uses when he installs an insert in a spark plug hole that has been stripped out. I've helped many with problems, lots with saw problems, but people have to actually take the advice and apply it for it to work. You've been given much advice, but it seems more like you just...

Stihl MS391 saw, 11 months old, 'dropped' its muffler

Nothing went wrong with the muffler. When things loosen up, they need to be tightened. The reason the holes are all wollowed out is because it wasn't tightened as soon as it came loose. Pro saws are built stronger and have more power per pound, and they handle better as well. That being said...

So this tree is a 9.5" tree? How far off the ground is the bottom of the break? Is it still up?

    ISO Bandit 90xp

I drove by Morbark last week, they had a very large 3 axle chipper and a short row(maybe 10) of smaller units on the side of the building set up to ship and that was it. Normally they have 20-30 units out front and a few on the side. One day I'll buy a smaller unit, for now I'll continue to...

    FS: MasterMind Worksaws 372xp

It's far from a hotsaw, although it's much "hotter" than a stock saw. Hotsaw, think timbersports. It's a ported saw. Randy(AKA mastermind) builds great runners, I have an early 372 he ported myself.

Do I need a DOT physical / MED CARD?

The chipper, how do you get it in the dump trailer and out of it? Are you pulling it behind the dump trailer?

    Dumbest climb

Funny, even though I'm comfortable being off the ground, that makes me uncomfortable. Maybe it's seeing the views from the camera instead of through my own eyes, but some of the videos make me feel sick to my stomach, others don't phase me at all? You guys have a great weekend, don't do anything...
