Stein x2 aluminum climbers brand new in the box never assembled. I won these in a comp and have no use for them. I would take 300 dollars for them or I am open to trades... Roperunner perhaps...hit me up and maybe we can make a deal
xman, i totally agree about the dangers of leaving stubs, both to the climber and the potential of hanging up material. i climb predominantly srt and spikes are not necessarily conducive to my climbing style, however if i see the need for spikes i will srt to the top and then put my spikes on...
i personally do a majority of removals without spikes, however that is simply because i work in an area where very often i can tie into an adjacent tree and my work positioning isnt compromised....that being said when it is safer and easier to use spikes i use spikes, i am not trying to prove...

thats pretty presumptuous to insinuate that mark and gerry would indeed indorse one handed chainsaw use if they were not in the spotlight.
im not foolish enough to think that i would change your mind about your practices or methods...but i would like to remind everybody that complacency kills...
this thread is absolutely ridiculous to me....i am a full time climber at a company with no bucket truck and we pride ourselves in safe work practices....one handing a chainsaw is virtually not discussed because of the simple fact that it is not necessary. proper work positioning makes the need...
