I stumbled across this one. It's a DEAL at that price. Located in Houston, it's close enough to you. Call Javier @ 832 406-9078 He is asking $1100 obo. You could probably get is for $750-$800.
Re: 70\' Hiranger on 88\' GMC Excellent Condition
I believe so. It's currently in the shop undergoing it's annual inspection/certification, so we haven't released it and finish the "deal" yet. I'll let you know though if anything changes. Thanks
I recall some chainsaw "chap" pants you had once, when we worked together! I trust these are a little more "washed" than those were. Mercy, the smell comin' off those things.
The Best Bucket Truck??? That's easy! It's the one that will comfortably do about 85% of your work (for the rest: don't bid it, or hire it out to someone who does have the right truck), is PAID FOR, is safe, and will pass inspectional test! We all get wrapped up in the "perfect truck"...
Re: 70\' Hiranger on 88\' GMC Excellent Condition
I believe I have the truck sold, but if something changes I'll let you know. It truly is an exceptional truck, especially for the price! It comes from the same NASA installation that produced the majority of rocket engines for the space...
70\' Hiranger on 88\' GMC Excellent Condition
1988 GMC 7000, 427 V8 gas engine, 5 speed, hydraulic brakes, with 5500 original miles. Truck was a former NASA unit that spent it's entire life on a local installation. Unit is a HiRanger 6H65 with 70 feet of working height and less than 200 flying...
60\' OverCenter Versalift Rearmount- Ford flatbed
Very nice, compact rear mount bucket truck. Excellent unit that flys similarly to a HiRanger XT55 or Atlec LRV55 with excellent side reach. Please see link to an ad I placed. I am simply shedding some excess equipment. Thanks...
Several Good, \"starter\" bucket trucks for sale
I am about to be selling a number of my "accumulated" bucket trucks. They have all been inspected and are in good condition. They have been in the south their entire life so there are no rust issues. Although they are older units, they still run...
Having used both (forestry truck and flatbed), it depends on your application. Forestry trucks were purpose built for line clearance (lots of smaller debris, immediately off the road and to the side of the truck). Although great for this application they are not so great for residential work...
Unfortunately guys, I think all of us are missing the real point. We ALL know guys just like this in every one of our markets. In fact, I would say, as a whole (let me repeat that- as a whole), the show does represent the "average" tree guy. Yes, I too, find the show repulsive, aggravating, and...
The 1250 was a fine chipper in it's day, but feed systems have improved GREATLY. You will find the feed table is too high and the infeed chute doesn't facilitate feeding very limby material easily. If you can find a Bandit or a Morbark within your budget you will be much happier with it's...
I stand corrected. I was going on my (obviously deteriorating memory) but after pulling a file, indeed it is Brad in Ohio. Goodness, there's something about this side of 40.
Re: \"Gale Wars\" Articulating loaders
You will LOVE that machine. It's a Willmar Wrangler. They were built to be "beat to death" in the fertilizer industry, were tough and simple, and competed head to head with Swinger wheelloaders.
Does that one have the 76 hp John Deere engine?
You need to look up MasterMind SawWorks in Tennessee. They do a wonderful job of "building" work saws. Also, Bob Snelling in Missouri builds custom "modded" 201s that (from all reports) out cut a factory 200. Either can be googled and pursued from there. Good Luck!
