    Echo on the battery bandwagon.

Someone said that most if not all the reviews where written by people that got their saws for free and where asked to post a review. I haven't read any reviews yet and can't confirm if this story is true. I would love to get my hands around those handlebars to compare the saws speed to my Husqy...

    Minimalist Lowerable Basal Tie Off

Try it another way. Before you tie off walk four times around the base of the tree with the rope. Than tie off. ICE your groundie can untie. Walk around the tree untill you get lowered. Look at the tree as a big portawrap.

Nothing? So the same grab and release no matter when in rain, dry, hot or cold conditions that's not just the Zigzag. That's strange, because in my memory I was on a regularly base fiddling with my hitchcord to find just the sweet spot. It's not that when you are used to the "wrongs" of a...

Problem with the ropewrench and zigzag combo is significant. Going up the rope and sitting back after that 100% of the load is on the Zigzag! The Zigzag 'catches' or grabs the rope way faster than the ropewrench does. 100% of the load is double the workload on that zigzag chain. Wolter

I am concerned about the use of products that can't safely be used as a combo. I'm also concerned about use of materials that are not intended to be used in that specific configuration. Im not bashing on a product! Wolter
