Petzl ZigZag letter

I confess that I own 2 8s, but have used a munter more often, and have used the steel 8 for rigging more than the aluminum 8 for repeling.

I am a beer drinking drop out, but lately I'm enjoying rum. In fact my entire HS gpa is 0.5, but I did manage to get my AS degree a year before I was suppose to graduate. Smart enough to drop out like a rat leaving a sinking ship to forge a better path. Now look at me, a knuckle dragging tree climber like most of us here!

You are on your own for the video though. :burlas:

Yup I only went as a freshman, my attendance record showed that I was absent more than I was there... Got my GED that summer, got a job, and started collage the next fall.

That has it's place too. Forgetting the GED or AS which has done nothing for me, dropping out was the smartest thing I think I ever did as a teen, certainly the safest...

Well put. For me it's a matter of whether it's functioning within the realities of our environment and for a length of time that makes it cost beneficial. If there are too many caveats to how it can be used then it's just not a well designed product. One thing if your adapting a device developed for a different application (e.g. , rescue or abseil). When it's market is specifically arboriculture then it's got to work in the broadest application alike to his competitors.

For me, Petzl is making an excellent argument behind the concept of operating with two independent climbing systems. I understand that the French arboriculture council recently passed guidlines that all proffessional climbers in France use two climbing systems.
