    Round up overspray

It is not supposed to be drifting. Either the pressure needs reducing, the droplet size increased somehow, or they need to wait for still air. But the drifting is not an option they should be taking. They need to make the changes, not you.

    Snags Are Cool!!

Anyone ever notice the huge dead remnant just east of Cave Junction and Kerby, Oregon? It's on the south side of Hy. 199 a couple hundred feet back give or take. I've meant to stop by and ask about it.

    Mulch Volcanoes

[ QUOTE ] Sorry md, I agree about depth/ thickness being important, but I'm not sure if you're saying that barkdust is pro or con at 3" or at all? What's the difference between barkdust and wood chips? I assume one is from bark and one's from wood, so what I'm asking is one better do they...

    Mulch Volcanoes

I don't think it matters much whether it's a volcano or a layer ... but the depth of the mulch, and how much is added, and when, is what's important. My experience finds little need for mulch / barkdust thicker than about 3" thick. Bark mulch seems to cause a thatch roof like quality...

Re: \"Redwood Season\" Arrived Last weekend, found an area in Jedediah Smith redwoods that had more large Douglas Firs in close proximity than I've seen in that park before. No new records, but big enough to get me back there to look more. Here's one of the larger ones.
