    Julie, I second others' advice about checking out the NT ONYX. New Tribe contributed an ONYX and a MONKEY BEAVER to the 2016 WTCW. We were able to give direct feedback to the designer and my main advice was to make the whole geometry smaller...and I know there's always new stuff in the works...

So...when we figure out the load we put on the limb, branch, smaller branch...that's cool, but since we can't know each union or canopy anchor point, or redirect point's breaking strength aren't we still relying on so much intuition...

    New Tribe is debuting it now at ArborFest West in Sacramento. I did get to try it on on the ground, and one feature that intrigues me are the thigh webbing straps meant to hold the leg straps in place for your best fit. Kinda like a pistol holster or knife sheath leg strap would.
