    The big feed wheel is key IMO. Good luck with her. Looks stout. Not a dent In the feed table.

    Wondering how a smaller car under 6,000lbs can compare to a over 6,000lbs pound suv/truck for tax purposes. Any body know the difference. Looking to buy/lease a company vehicle for my brother but I want to take advantage of the tax benefits aswell. Thanks!

    The only drawback is some chip drool in-between the truck and chipper. Otherwise you will like it. We mostly chip softwood up to capacity and it does great. Chipping larger diameter hardwood you may want to consider the diesel option. We like the simplicity of the gas engine.

    We have the 5.7l gm gas in our 19xpc. It a great performing chipper and the feed system will blow you away. It's super impressive. I never thought I'd go gas but I have no regrets. The biggest plus in my book is the oversized feed wheel. I can shove a 18 log in without lifting the top yoke.

    We don't even drop the locking pin on the giant. We tend to snap it evey time we move big wood with it in. We have tipped it once moving big wood on uneven terrain. Total pilot error. As far as a giant 254T with no rotating grapple, you are leaving a lot of capabilities on the table...

    The giant has no problem climbing any hill even with a load. It will loose traction befor being bogged down. It's an animal.

    I have that Fiori ring and I girth hitch it onto a 5/8th tufelberger t-rex line. We love it and rig all the heavy wood with it. It allows for some margin of error when taking wraps on the porty.     Echo 2511t bumper spikes

    Westcoastsaw.com has an amazing pair of felling dogs for the 251. I would only recommend installing them If you have a modified saw. He is on to something with his proprietary three spiked dogs. They really perform well on my 572xp and I just bought a set for my 395xp

    You should look into the spikes that echo offers for that 2511 saw alternatively West coast saw has some as well but unless the saw is modified they are alittle to aggressive
