Thanks…and I actually allready do that to some degree all ready, for example I do some (very little) wood working in the winter and have to pay a higher premium for that reason...

    Not totally sure I understand, but the ministry of labour here in Ontario makes a huge distinction between employee and employer/owner. Employees getting injured, certified etc is a much bigger deal, than the owner. Just my observation.

    I’ll try to get a picture or two wow, I’m getting so much good advice, lots of it is helping me build confidence, because as a certified ISA arborists, I do understand some stuff, but wasn’t super confident. But I’ve been learning some stuff here thanks everyone that has contributed!

    Yes, I completely agree with the way you quoted me, at the end of the day sometimes if your going for a good healthy well managed producing fruit tree, it might be better just to start over, if your dealing with a poorly managed 80 year old tree
