I get that not everyone can’t be whatever they want…I have a friend who was more than qualified to be a military fighter pilot but was 1 inch too tall…that’s not really my point (i was just wondering if my reflection on whether “anyone” I used that term lightly, could be trained to become a top...
No, I think you hit the nail right on the head… It’s the situational awareness, that I would say he would say he doesn’t even have that. I’m most concerned about.
This is closest to exactly how I feel! I just have other people who suggest I’m sort of restricting him, which is partly true (only from climbing) because of exactly what you just said
I have a super employee that works very hard and is excellent in lots of ways! But, I’m sincerely, concerned that if I start training him to be a climber! A tree accident is just waiting to happen (note: I have trained excellent climbers before, that probably even surpassed my abilities today)...
I’m in Ontario Canada, and I was ordering a new set for my 12xp and the bill estimate was literally triple from my invoice in June last year! Wow! That’s a lot! (I should have ordered hundreds and resold I could have retired selling them lol!!
Anyway, anyone have a good lower cost source in...
Can you send me a link to find out more ? The 528 doesn’t work for me, size does matter lol…we like it because it fits through lots of gates! But much more importantly we can put the 400 series loader and our 83 foot spider lift on the same 20 foot 14,000 pound trailer and we’re still road...
Does the hydraulic portion add a lot of weight? As I might have mentioned, I have a hydraulic grapple bucket and that certainly has significant crushing power/force…that’s interesting that capacity would change things so much? Is there any other 400 series machine owners that have had problems...
Very interesting, sounds like people overall are saying the power rotation! I have a self modified grapple bucket and my 2 electronic buttons have always worked flawlessly, so it’s interesting to hear these other electric glitches
I’m looking into purchasing a grapple for my 400 series avant loader, and I was wondering what people would recommend, because there’s two to choose from it seems… One has a hydraulically operated swivel, and the other one is just free turning. Does anybody have some input?
Thanks!
And I have a quick related question? What do people prefer to use to prevent the prussik from getting “sucked” pulled into the pulley system? I’ll try to add a picture
Well it tightened the belt even tighter than I think bandit specs call for, but auto feed sometime doesn’t kick in and work, sometimes (must with bigger wood). Only happened once today, but I should have it at all in my opinion. Maybe I should take that glass of the pulley that you mentioned...
It’s 1 big belt that fits into pulleys with 4 groves…
Here’s a screen shot from a demonstration video of adjusting a bandit 12xp belt
Reach you’re a super guy!!! Alway looking out for me! Hope someday I get to meet you and shake your hand (and a few more like you on here) tree guys are some...
