    Fly by night tree services

I've fallen conifers for $250 before. 15 minutes later... I don't think that I would say Any conifer can be removed for $250 though.

Evaluation of current rigging and dismantling practices used in arboriculture

There's nothing on Speedlining/Ziplining in there though, which generates more lateral force on the stem than conventional rigging.

BC1400 Infeed roller gap/spread. Tightening issue.

@southsoundtree I've been running it, just using the winter to get it into improved condition. I agree it does have some issues, its very messy and clogs up in some spots easily. Yes it has vertical feedwheels.

    1 ton or 2 ton?

Hi, So I'm looking to upgrade my truck. I have a BC1400 Vermeer chipper, which I'm dragging around with my half-ton F-150 and I'm pretty sure I'm wrecking the transmission. I can barely go 50km/hr. uphill. I was looking at One tons, Dodges 5.9 or Fords 7.3, but now I'm seeing a few options...

What distributor did you buy it off?

    Chipper thoughts

Shop around for a used one. I got a quote for 90k CAD for a 15" Morbark, then found a 14" Vermeer for 8k CAD. Not the best model, sure but 82 000 difference is easy to justify. Im ironing out the wrinkles but it works fine.
