Tangled up in my SRS & MRS approach...

I do what Misfit described with the loop (if my rope length is sufficient). Advancing Ddrt with my wrench setup is not a problem for me.

Ive got hope for it. I loved my s.light. On a 2018 treemo now. Great harness but still Find myself missing my light. Esp with the double bridge option, Im looking forward to running one.

All good points. I do wish the backpad didnt have their new “bumper pad”. I set up mine with gear loops all the way at the top. Also, I like to have the little loop up top too. Its wet where Im at and nice to be able to hang my harness from there. I know people will grumble about the lack of...

What does the inside of a well-used climbing rope look like?

Some well used Samson Velocity core. Respliced it the other day to see how difficult it’d being its well used and milked several times. The nylon core fluffs up for sure.

    WTB: SilverBull Grab Bag 20L

I have the small metolius express pack for a rope bag. Love it all around but really dig it on a crane since I can have it on my back. Bombproof too throwing it down. Im sure the smaller metolius mescalito would be great too

What is your preferred method for whipping the end of the line?

Back splice for hollow braid and reeving eye for climb lines. If its a rope that needs milking, its easy enough to undo, milk, then resplice.

If you were to purchase a saddle to introduce people to climbing, which one would it be?

Again, tree mo light. Lower d’s, affordable, good re sale value if needed

If you were to purchase a saddle to introduce people to climbing, which one would it be?

I second for Tree mo light. I think this point was made in another thread but if they decided they wanted to sell their gear because they dont want to rec, the tree mo or other higher grade saddles have a better resale value. I know id buy a lightly used treemo lite real quick.
