The pulleysaver clip is designed that way on pupose.
As said above, it takes a kind of "rolling in" motion to install.
The design benefit is that then it can not physically take a second thickness of rope.
This is to prevent a random bight of rope causing 1 of 2 things...from 1...

Jamin, i think if you're booked that far out you should put your prices up, not gouging, but say 10-15%.
It will lower your conversion rate, but thats OK because you have more customers than you can serve in a timely manner anyway.
By upping your average $ sale, you will increase your margin...
Worth the extra IMO.
As you said, blocks are usually a longish term item as far as tree equipment goes so the $ diference over time for the benefits is nothing really.
