    I like your logic. I can't think of a way that they would actually pull themselves apart aside from utter destructive forces, which I don't think my application would produce. We have bigger gear for that

    But they also have a bury… I might just pull mine apart. Probably lose one pocket by fixing the mistake. I used in total 18’ for this configuration which in its current state is about seven foot end to end

    I think maybe because all the stress is being put on the actual splice when using it as a pocket might have something to do with it

    This is the 1/2” stuff, I guess it could still see some significant load on that pocket. I totally brain farted and thought through one, through the other, I’m good!
