Prentice and Rotobec loaders are both really good loaders and I'm sure most of the others out there are good as well. Used loaders can be hard to find that are still pretty good shape. But new loaders are crazy expensive so it's usually good to find a used loader and put a little money into it
Being that I own a alc rear mount I cannot believe no one is jumping on this truck. There Awsome buckets and you will never find one cleaner than this truck. Soo much better than a old worn out truck with a with a white paint job from so many of the "Forrestry equipment dealers"
I left it as is, the sad part is it layed on my floor in the bed room for a few week, finally found some where to put it after I triped over it in the middle of the night.
John bowing the founder is a great guy, from the few times I met him, he seems like a honest guy and really cares about The equipment they designs and build. I'm assuming JR is his son? Hopefully they make the issue right with you. How many years old/ hours until your issue arose? I would thick...
Oh I missed that he would bring another truck to a job. thus needing another driver, another truck to maintain, would still like to know why he would go that route, i have had chippers and done it both ways but I have not found a job I wish I had a chipper on since I went the grapple trick route.
mvtclimber, help me under stand why you think a chip truck with knuckle boom would be better? So you would need to pull a chipper behind the chip truck, so how would you haul the dump trailer of your pulling the chipper?
Guy I know locks up his container and parks a grapple truck against the door. And bleeds off the air, no way is some one getting in that door, of corse they could just cut a hole in the side of the container but that would be more time consuming.
Any one looking for a new-newer grapple truck needs to talk to treecareinc, his trucks are very well put together and well maintained. Ohh and if you can't tell in the pictures there sexy!!!
