ISC Triple action snap- Heads Up!

Interesting to see all the replies to this, I'm a little surprised... The snap is less than a year old and in great shape overall. I work in a despicably pitchy environment, but am hyper-vigilant about gear maintenance. As mentioned by others, I noticed the difference of the action (or lack of)...

ISC Triple action snap- Heads Up!

Working a willow removal today, noticed that my ISC triple action snap had misaligned and allowed the gate to open and close freely. I hope this makes sense... The small first action had somehow (??) slipped/jammed beneath the second action (back of the snap), allowing for the gate to open and...

    Specialist

As an arborist and someone who cherishes our urban environment and wonderful trees, I do value taking down a tree that has been condemned. I value preservation over any other method, but if someone has to take down a tree, I would rather have it be a skilled professional (me), than some two-bit...

    Redwood (director's cut)

Re: Redwood (director\'s cut) First off, Grover, I thought the vid was great. Super smooth! Obviously in control. Dan's first vid. 6:35. Pat's lucky he was behind the stem. That piece would have been fun to take in the chest.

    Better warning signs

Caution tape/cone off your work area. Anyone that tries to pass under... "Excuse me Mr/Mrs, it is a liability to have you in my work area, I have to ask you politely to stay out. Thanks for the pics! I like the ideas. Never thought of capturing the ascender to the knee with as strap, pretty minimalist. Should be able to set up something killer now
