Have you ever run a BMG swivel grapple? I have that grapple in your pic and it sits and collects dust while my swivel grapple goes out every day and gets crap done.
In reply to the OP, Ryan’s grapple is very good! However, they are way heavier than BMG so you’re giving up lift capacity if you...
Totally agree with what you’re saying. Wasn’t trying to imply that you are relying on your groundie, was simply commenting on how valuable they can be because we all make mistakes at times.
Some of the few Ash trees left in Northern Indiana. If you’re ever in the area it’s worth the effort to stop and walk the campus of Notre Dame. The tree variety is incredible and they have some amazing mature trees. This row of carefully preserved Ash trees brightened my day after a tough week.

Does anybody use these fiberglass matts for driving their heavy equipment into yards? We’ve got a Merlo on order (50,000lbs) and I know we will be putting in nice yards A LOT. We’re just trying to find a good solution...
Kind of like this…

It’s $15 instead of $.10, but I think that’s still a fair deal…
;)
We keep things VERY conservative at our company. We’ve never had debt on more than 1 piece of equipment at a time and each time paid it off in less than 5 years.
I’ve been running the TreeCore for the past 2 years. I really like it, but I don’t climb everyday. The biggest downside to the harness is the lack of adjustability on the leg loops. I use it with the upper harness which I really like as well
