Plenty of line clearance tree trimmers take copper wires when they become available, either rolled up by a pole or, if dead, they cut it with a pruner.
The red core came out I'd say a little over an inch. Sherrill ultimately did do the right thing and let me re- order without having to pay shipping, so credit where credit is due. Kudos to them.
My experience has been negative. I ordered a 10mm bee line, the core came out right away. All I wanted was a new one. They wanted ME to pay to ship their defective part back. So I did in good faith. Instead of a replacement, I received a refund for the bee line. So now I have to RE ORDER the...
