    Apologies for quibbling here, but that thing is NOT a seed pod. It's a flower spathe - essentially a giant flower bud. If left alone, it will open and have a gazillion tiny flowers on it which will (if pollinated) then become seeds. And weigh a whole lot more than 185 lbs. if it's allowed to...
