No he's not. He has been tasked with auditing government spending which is under the directive of ; look but don't touch. I see a lot wringing of hands and people flat flipping out on things that 'could' happen, but not any talk from those
same people, about all the shit that this audit has already uncovered in just this one small branch of government. Why is that?

The problem is everyone is an expert nowadays. 30 years ago you could be reasonably sure an "expert" who appeared on the news had the experience and education needed to be confident in what they were saying. Today all you need is an internet connection and some buzz words.

Tell it the judge who just shutdown this thing that apparently, according to you, isn't happening? Musk holds no official government position, and didn't receive a single vote to do what he is doing. WHAT HE IS DOING is accessing the Treasury Department’s central payment system which is a violation of federal law. The payment system handles tax refunds, Social Security benefits, veterans’ benefits and much more, sending out trillions of dollars every year while containing an expansive network of Americans’ personal and financial data.
And it might not be the best idea to have a man who has for decades been feeding at the trough of federal funds in charge of slashing federal spending..Kinda akin to having the wolves guard the henhouse, and we all know how that turns out.

If Elon can do it, why can't I? He's just as qualified and valid a person as I am to conduct an audit on an entire government. Maybe I'll walk into the Pentagon and boot everyone out under the guise of finding some money savings. I pinky promise I won't touch anything else.
Take a deep dive into Elon (both current and past) and it doesn't paint a very rosy picture.
