This is painful. They are both insufferable morons. I can’t believe these two are the best/only choices we have. And the “debate” format is horrific. They just ramble incoherently about whatever they want to talk about. Embarrassing.

I don't she's as dumb, but both are at least smart enough to convince a lot of people to let them be the actors on stage. They gettin paid, y'know. Smart enough. Shitty people in general; both ruthless as fuck, and unfortunately, smart enough as well.
I just watched the entire debate this morning and Kamala gave Donald an unmitigated ass whooping. She fucking owned him from the handshake on. Kamala was well prepared and stayed cool, calm, and collected as she broke him down like a angry pathologically dishonest hostile witness, all while offering a positive vision for America. Donny, on the other hand, was on his heels for almost the entirety of the debate and resorted to his same old angry lies, grievances, dog whistles, and extremely dark version of the future (American and household pet carnage). Donny, being Donny, fell for every single bait Kamala set and in his responses he looked old, unpresidential, incompetent, incoherent, confused, wholly unprepared, racist, and frankly fucking crazy. All Kamala had to do was sit back and watch Donny bury himself, and bury himself he did. It got so bad that Donny had to resort to using his friendships with dictators like Kim Jong Un, Putin, and Viktor Orban to defend himself. Fucking brilliant and I urge everyone to take the time to watch the entire debate.
It started early and went downhill for Donny from here.
The fact that Team Trump is already claiming the debate was "rigged", "stacked", and attacking the Mods/ABC tells us all we need to know about Donny's debate performance. When all else fails, play the victim.

I agree with a lot of this (not all
).Trump was unprepared. He fails to realize that his stump speech doesn’t play to all Americans. And I’m sure he’s impossible to coach. Trump taking anyone’s advice on how to behave or what to say… we’ll, I just can’t imagine that going well.
On that note, I’d agree that he needed to be more positive. It’s possible to fight the good fight and still be an optimistic and upbeat person. Last night he wasn’t. 90 minutes of anger won’t sell. The term “Happy Warrior” comes to mind. Reagan is the example here.
All in all, a good night for Kamala, a “meh” night for Trump and a horrid night for ABC. The moderator bias wasn’t just apparent- it was featured. Not sure the polls will change much, but if they do it will probably be toward Harris.

A total Fox News induced cop-out. When a presidential candidate claims doctors are performing abortions after birth, or a candidate claims Haitian immigrants are stealing peoples pets and eating then that candidate needs to be fact checked. If anything the moderator were over tolerant of the avalanche of bullshit coming out of Donald's mouth last night and let him talk much longer than he deserved. In the end this hurt Trump because he sounded like an angry unhinged lunatic for 99% of the debate. What the Mods did last night was is called good journalism. They had clearly done their research and came prepared to ask question of each candidate concerning their own actions, words, and records. One candidate was up to the challenge and did extremely well, and one candidate was his own worst enemy (again). Last night MAGA once again had a chance to witness the most foul human being to ever run for the highest office in this land. Their conclusion? That's our man, lets shoot the messenger. Fucking disgraceful.

I would also like to take a moment to point out that it was pressure from the left that got biden to step down. Nobody was excited to have him run again, and HE IS THE ONE THE DNC TRIED TO FORCE ON PEOPLE! Enough independant players pushed on their reps and senators to beg him to step aside, with a general sense of, 'who cares who replaces him'. Jon Stewart had been saying it since his first episode back to TDS. You can say it was a scheme of sorts, but the RNC backing dumpster fire mcgoo seems equally ridiculous. Like, they don't realize how unpopular he is with most people?

Right-o, it’s not an outright ban. More context here, this was posted on Them, but also using reporting from TechCrunch. X has at times produced a warning message. I’m not really sure what the long list of things are that Elon doesn’t want us to talk about nor do I care to find out…

What’s been interesting to see is the clever manipulation of algorithms that the platforms can use to quietly silence some content and not others. I play this game sometimes on instagram where I have 5k followers, a story might see 100 people or 800 people depending on its content. Not saying it’s ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ but it certainly is a huge power they wield to decide what gets seen and what gets ignored.

You know Bush 2 didn't win either election... To think that an election can't be stolen in the US is pure foolishness. DO you remember when Jimmy Carter ran an organization that monitored elections around the world. The US didn't even meet the basic requirements that would need to be met before Carter would monitor an election.
