Just talked to Rock Exotica. Maybe see the Akimbo sometime early 2018. Not until after they release the Roperunner2. On the upside the new Roperunner will not have droppable pins.

Sterling work pro doesn't work with akimbo. 11mm. The new rope. No good. Creeps even when it's so tight I drag on ascent like I'm dragging an anchor up the tree. after an hour and about 25 ascents I'm done with it. It even hates my foot ascender coiling the damn rope is like coiling cable. If anybody wants a super static rope it's for sale with 2 sewn eyes.

That ain't no good at all. I wondered that with it being so exact 11mm. I only had a small section to work with. Sorry you had to shell out the cash to find out the hard way. Still liking it on the Aztec? I think if we could ever get ahold of the 12mm work pro that might be the ticket!

Yeah. Sucks. Coulda burned the money instead. Aztec is good but now it has some wear on it it's not as good. It's not the perfect rope. I'd like some kmIII max or escalator.

I don't know. I cant see getting to that point as I can't stop on descent. Kinda tough for work positioning. Plus the extra work just to ascend is brutal to say the least. I'd have to sit in the yard and run it over a rough bark tree for a week to break it in.
