Start saving your nickels and dimes, & a few $5's & $10's, the company that I've contacted, is going to have a dozen of the rings in a few months. I'm guessing when I estimate the cost to me could be around $210-$225/ each after freight from France. So far 10 of them have been spoken for, with price being the decision. So, this is not happening overnight so be prepared when I send out the message that I have them. I'll keep everyone apprised of details as I receive them myself.

Levi, my friend, you are dreaming if you can get one for a "C" note. The company estimates that a dozen of these rings will cost me between $1400-$1600+ freight from France. I took it upon myself to cover shipping to the members in the lower 48 states (out of my own pocket), but so far I believe 8-10 of them have been spoken for. I'm keeping the first 2, and selling the other 10, I don't want to order so many that I've got 5-8 of them that I can't get rid of. It's gonna be a few months before they are ready to be shipped, so if you start at the beginning of the thread you'll get the full story, as to how I got this whole thing moving! The company doesn't have a distributor in the states, that's why they agreed to sell to me, to begin with. After this deal is done then it's up to an Arb Store to pursue carrying them or not. If I had a list of definite buyers then I could contact the company and give them a larger amount of the rings for an order. It boils down to commitment of all involved. I'll leave it at that for now! [emoji12]
 
I'm Reviving the thread regarding the Monster X Rings, it's been a couple of months and quite a few trees since anyone has posted anything here, besides the personal message board, but I've been in contact with the manufacturer of the rings and it's looking as if July is going to be the "Big Month" for delivery [emoji403]! So, if anyone is interested in the "Monster X Rings", let me know (who and how many) you would like to order. I didn't want to start a new thread with all the information we already have on this one! But, I received an email yesterday 6/05/17, from my contact and she assures me that production will be done by the end of June and that she needs a final count to fill my order. I'm sure there are a few members that thought I'd drop the ball on this one, but I've been in constant communication with them! If anyone other than the couple of members that have contacted me outside the thread are interested in purchasing the rings, could we start getting a list together so I don't order too many or not enough? I'll pay for the shipping and obviously the cost of the initial order, but as I stated, I would like to be certain of the exact count so I'm not left with a whole box of these big guys! The last I heard was the Rings are roughly $200/each, I'm going to keep it at that until I have them delivered to me. If anyone feels that they could help with shipping within the lower 48, I'll leave it to them to do what's right. Anyone outside the lower states, we can discuss shipping on a one to one basis. So, let the frenzy begin! Thanks go out to the members that have pushed me to keep this idea a reality!

I'm straight rings and do everything of them, big or small, negative rigging, posititve riding (hah) whatever. as long as the sling is rated for the weight, let it ride. i use that two ring set up you posted @Raven27 although its one i made. real similar. i use it in collaboration with a single ring sling. then when I'm going to be negative rigging a spar, ill take the double rings and make a 6 coil prussic on the single sling.

That's what I had in mind, when the Rings are in my possession, I'll calculate the cost breakdown, and just do PayPal F&F. Unless someone would like to get a written receipt for business! So far I've gotten 10 people that are interested, said I'm ordering 2 dozen of them. So, they aren't going to last very long. If they sell immediately, I will have to see if I can order more, but I definitely have to get the initial batch sold before entertaining the idea of ordering more. This has been a really difficult process to get the manufacturer to commit to the sale to the States.
 
Ya honestly could probably just jot down a lil note myself and just note the cost and item, ya know.

What do you think the best uses for the ring will be.

I'm interested, and starting to get a bit of build-up of gear, as is, with a good TreeBay score from Rockettree.
