Been here a while
Hello everyone, I've been watching treebuzz for years and truly appreciate all the members who are willing to share new ideas and techniques. Thank you for expanding my knowledge. I own a tree service in northern ca. And recently had the pleasure of working with "Flex Abednego." Nic put up a post awhile back asking if any established companies would be willing to share some hands on tips and tricks. Long story short: Nic drove in from the coast and spent a couple days working with me and my crew and then we did a rec. climb on a big Sugar pine Saturday. Nic is a great guy, down to earth, humble, smart and by no means a rookie. He has good solid tree climbing skills and is well read on the subject, as well as having attended instructional courses. Plus his gear is top of the line ( I'll be buying an APTA soon.) So I'm putting this out there to all the tree co.'s on the west coast, if you're willing to share your experience this guy is sincere in his desire to learn new tricks ( and has some of his own to share too) here's a photo of Nic in the big Sugar pine about 2/3 upon left.
