Yup. No need for 4 outriggers they said. then I see a go-track with a shorter boom with 4. WTF is that about?

Hammer we still use wizz saw at asplundh in Oregon. I dont like them, every old timer that uses them stopped after their shoulder replacement surgery!

no it was live. i was just being an [bad word] to those who were poking at the pic. its a fact that approach distances get breached and primary and neautrals get split. it, even though yes it is frowned upon.....happens. to all of you who brought it to attention....thanks ....i guess. ill be more selective as far as my pics in the future. i can tell that some here arent real familiar with the true aspects of line clearance....or maybe they just dont have the volume of trees to trim in their area. im not only certified in line clearance but i am also have extensive training in a/c d/c theory and have worked in all areas pertaining to such so dont try and lay the "unsafe" or "dangerous" lines on me. if you have the luxery to take your time im glad for you. you are VERY lucky to work for such an employer. where i come from they say they want safety but in actuallity they want production.

so...if your rippin on my pic because the outfit you work for truely cares about you and not the money they make..then you had better stay put. if your rippin on the pic because you want to sound like your in tuned with the trade and want to sound all knowing then ...go pound salt out your [bad word]!

Looks like a nice part of the span, nice and wide. I know you have fit into tighter squeezes than that.

Knuckling under is an option as well, but it would be a tight fit between that row of cedars being that close.

My opinion is that a wiz saw is extremely dangerous. I have seen many accidents with this tool to the user as well as wires, booms, etc.. The thing just spins too fast. The stick saw or a pruner is much safer option.
