Nov 28, 2011 #97 T trees4ever I think your on it, Dylan. I was going into the Salicaceae family next because of those pointy buds. It may be Populus balsamifera, though, because of the darker bud color... we'll see ... Tom is probably getting his winter zzzzzzzs right now -Diane
