Why did I wait so long?

there's no good reason for not having started an SRT forum before now.

One of Pete Donzelli's sayings about sport we both enjoyed, telemark sking was:

Half the binding, twice the fun!

This fits for SRT too!

Here it is!

Have you seen Paul Cox's latest?

The Hitch Hiker!

I'll get more pics later today or tomorrow.

Can't quite remember that many specifics Tom. Been a looooooong time since I tried the thing. But I thought it was an attempt to appease the ministry of labour in Canada by having a "mechanical" rated hitch. From what I remember it was notoriously hard to control and hardon rope. That's all I could think of when I saw your pic.

I could feather the rate of descent...it did take a gentle hand though.

Dave didn't invent it for the MoL ;)...I remember getting his call when he came up with the idea. It was after Expo in the evening I was in my garage...unheated in November and the phone rang. Dave could hardly talk he was soooo stoked!

Hopefully he can make it work SRT and sell a butt full $$$. Be nice to see at least one Ontario boy make some dough out of something to do with trees.
