In that closeup pic u can see a loop of line sticking out , you can also kinda see the indentation around the trunk in the most recent trunk pic I posted. It’s heavy duty line , no rotted at all. You can ignore the little scratch from the white pine removals I did yesterday .

I see it, knowing what to look for (on a small screen).

I wouldn't put all my eggs in the girdling basket.

Yeah no sign of it anywhere but the side where the loop is. Im curious what the other company will recommend moving forward. Id suggest removal too.

So this tree now goes to the bid that tree section!?? Not bad access but small gate into back yard so no big pieces coming out. Most likely no machines in the back yard but can stage lift in the brick driveway. Lotta wood!
